*Pharrell Williams is throwing his big hat into the fragrance game.

The Grammy winning producer has teamed with luxury fashion brand Comme Des Garçons to create a new fragrance “GIRL,” named after his new album, and – despite the title – is being designed to be worn by both men and women.

The “Happy” singer has been working in collaboration with fashion designer Rei Kawakubo’s Comme des Garçons Parfums and has had a hand in each stage of the creative process.

“I am so honored to be working with Comme des Garçons and cherish the education that I’ve experienced in this collaboration,” said the 40 year-old artist.

Comme des Garçons CEO Adrian Joffe told Vogue Australia that Pharrell “knew exactly what he wanted the perfume to smell like right from the beginning.

The fragrance is set to drop in September.

Williams has also recently collaborated with fashion brands Moncler and Louis Vuitton to create jewelry and sunglasses and has also recently revealed that he is the creative director of an eco-conscious collaboration between G-Star Raw and Bionic Yarn, according to Billboard.
