Rich Dollaz is the latest Reality TV star to expand his brand; he’s capitalized off of the exposure he’s gotten through the first four seasons of “Love & Hip Hop” with the launch of 79 Gold, a smooth new spirit that will be distributed through a partnership with distributor Empire.
79 Gold, created for sophisticated nights and power moves with its blend of Idaho wheat, caramel and maple syrup is the first foray into the spirits business for Dollaz, who’s growing interests also include a budding modeling agency, Lenox Ave Records, his management roster and an upcoming book on surviving and thriving in the music industry.
79 Gold launched in Dollaz’s hometown of Atlanta, Georgia last month and nationwide expansion has begun by entering into strategic alliances with Dollaz Unlimited. Rich Dollaz and Dollaz Unlimited will be responsible for all brand activities, which should quickly help the brand grow, given his status on the high-profile VH1 series.
The former Bad Boy and Interscope Records employee has grown within and beyond the music business since his days as an intern, as he’s recently started a foundation for battered women and children in Memphis called Miracles House of Restoration.
