*New York, NY  – DJ and artist booking agency, SKAM Artist, will kick off its 10-year anniversary with a blowout party on March 31st at Marquee Nightclub inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas with SKAM’s entire roster including original members Vice, OB-One and DJ Echo.

Other notables attending include Samantha Ronson and Eric D-Lux along with Australian newcomer Brooke Evers and many more. Vegas serves as the perfect city to host, given that more than ten SKAM DJs have residencies in Sin City including Jermaine Dupri, Lil Jon, DJ Crooked, DJ Turbulence, Jessica Who, DJ Irie and Ross One to name a few.

CEO of SKAM Artist, Sujit Kundu, reflects on the company’s growth saying, “I’ve watched SKAM Artist grow from inception in my apartment to now having an office full of employees. I was booking friends who worked as DJs for as little as $25, and now I have this amazing roster of artists and it’s a great accomplishment.” He continued, “Sharing the success with friends who’ve been in the industry together is most fulfilling…seeing them go from bus boys, bartenders and security guards to becoming CEOs of major companies today, talent buyers, hotel and restaurant developers is incredible.”

The year started off with a bang for SKAM at the CES in Las Vegas, with Monster announcing their collaboration, creating one of a kind SKAM N-Pulse Pro Over-Ear headphones. A few weeks later another announcement came as SKAM was named as an official curator of the new BeatsMusic site. Even with the amazing success, Kundu says, “I still consider us just getting started and recognize that we’re still a small brand that has a long way to go with a bright future ahead.”

Los Angeles’ DJ Echo and Las Vegas’ OB-One were amongst the first few DJs to join SKAM, but now the talent on this roster spans across the United States. DJ Irie and Mr. Mauricio are based in Miami, while both Jerzy and Nathan Scott call Chicago home amongst others. All the way on the West Coast is Sid Vicious in San Diego; Captn20 proudly hails from Detroit and D-Nice holds it down with the other NYCers on the roster in Manhattan.

Sujit Kundu started SKAM in 2004 and he hasn’t slowed down since. In 2005 he signed on with Universal Records as the National Director of Radio and Crossover Promotions, and ended with Motown in 2011 as Senior VP of Crossover and Video Promotion. He was responsible for an artist caché that included Lil Wayne, Nelly, and Akon. SKAM has had tremendous success in the open format/hip-hop world as well as its EDM division and continues to develop and expand on its artist roster. SKAM is home to over 50 DJs and artist talent including Nick Cannon, Samantha Ronson, Swizz Beats, D-Nice, Fatman Scoop, Mauricio, Justin Credible, Sky Nellor, Taryn Manning, DJ Irie and more.
