*All of a sudden, Gary Dourdan is back on television.

The former “CSI” star, who made headlines in recent years for domestic battery and drug use, has landed two huge acting gigs: a recurring role on BET’s “Being Mary Jane” and a guest starring role on Fox’s “Glee,” reports Deadline.com.

On the BET comedy, he’ll play Sheldon Armstrong, a smoothly charming and casually handsome retired civil trial attorney who made a fortune suing corrupt corporations. He’s coming out of retirement to pursue his charitable outreach, and. famous for never having given an interview in his life — but when Gabrielle Union’s Mary Jane sets out to interview him, he is quite taken with her and just might change his mind.

On “Glee,” Dourdan will play D’Shon, Mercedes’ (Amber Riley) record producer.
