halle-berry*With a new movie coming out that she is proud of, life couldn’t get any better for Halle Berry. That is unless you add her husband Olivier Martinez, daughter Nahla, 5, and son Maceo, 5 months, into the mix. Now it’s complete.

Berry’s new role in the psychological drama “Frankie & Alice” is, according to the Oscar winner, one she felt deserved to be played in order for the public to discover such a unique story.

“If someone had told me that we’re going to do a movie about a black woman [with multiple personalities] who has a white racist living inside her, and a little child who’s a genius living inside her, I would have thought that’s just a made-up story, but because it was real, that gave it a gravitas that to me was, ‘Wow, this is real, people should know about this,’” she told “Extra’”s Renee Bargh.

Berry’s good fortune has extended into her personal life as she is grateful to have her kids and Martinez in her life. Nevertheless, juggling her career with family can be a challenge as she films her new TV series, “Extant.”

“What I’m learning to do, trying to right now, is find the balance,” Berry shared “… my baby is always with me on set. I bring my daughter after school. I have a nursery there, a playroom for her, so I try to make it as nice as I can for them to spend time with them, see them.”

With Nahla, taking care of Maceo is a bit easier. According to the actress, her daughter is just as involved in raising him with her being very serious about her role as big-sister.

“It’s like one of her doll babies came alive,” said the entertainer. She gets to take care of him, feed him, change his diapers, play with him, dress him up in different clothes like five times a day because she can, so she loves it.”

For those wondering how Berry managed to regain her figure after having Maceo, the solution was a natural one.

“Every mother should breastfeed. It’s the quickest way to shed the initial weight and then you have to eat right,” the actress revealed while giving thanks for her personal good fortune. “I just feel great because I have another baby. I never thought that at my stage in life another baby — and a baby boy — was coming to me, so yeah, I’m blessed.”

Another person Berry hasn’t forgotten is Martinez. So much so that she confessed to watching him stir things up on the small screen on the hit show “Revenge.”

“I’m going to follow his little arc along,” she laughed. “I’m very proud of him… I think he’s delicious.”
