She postponed the honeymoon, which traditionally occurs right after the wedding.
But she did so for a good reason.
Tucker had to work! And she can’t have a honeymoon without him.
His production company was producing a project for a network.
“I know people are asking why am I on IG when I should be on my honeymoon,” she wrote. “Well [Todd] has to go out of town to set up a show his company is producing for a network that’s just starting production this week.”
Nevertheless, Burruss had been feeling good since the wedding.
“I woke up feeling blessed & highly favored this morning & I hope you did too! I just wanted to say thank you for all of your well wishes prayers for @Todd167 & I,” Kandi wrote on Instagram Sunday.
And although, she hasn’t gotten her honeymoon yet. She’s very supportive of Tucker and is happy for his career taking off.
“I would have loved to take one of those long honeymoons & fly out the day after the wedding,” Buruss admitted, “anyone that watched #RHOA knows that I wanted Todd to produce his own shows & work for his self & that dream is coming true so I’m not complaining!”
But if her support wasn’t enough, she wanted fans to offer support for her man’s career.
“Send him some love & congrats on his show being picked up as well! #
But don’t worry too much about Burruss. The two will eventually slip away for a honeymoon this upcoming weekend.
“We’re gonna do a quick getaway next weekend.”
Let’s hope there are many photos from their weekend getaway, but with some privacy, of course.
