*Jourdan Dunn has been hired as the new spokesperson for Maybelline New York.
The 23-year-old model says she’s thrilled to represent the brand and joins the likes of Christy Turlington, Freja Beha Erichsen and Charlotte Free.
“It is an honor to be a spokesperson for such an iconic brand. I am proud to say that I am a Maybelline girl and hopefully I can make people feel the same way I did when I saw the advertisements growing up,” she said. “The brand imagery is always beautiful and positive. To now be a part of that is a dream come true!”
Dunn was catapulted into the spotlight after being signed to Storm Model Management and has since worked with a number of luxury brands including Prada, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Yves Saint Laurent, and DKNY, among others.
Jerome Bruhat, global brand president of Maybelline New York, said: “Jourdan’s look, style and positive energy are perfect for the Maybelline New York brand. She truly reflects Maybelline’s vision of global beauty.”
Her first campaign for the brand will be for its Go Extreme mascara, due this April.
