*LeBron James Jr. is already drawing interest from college programs despite being just 10 years old, and Papa James is pissed.
“Yeah, he’s already got some offers from colleges,” LeBron James Sr. said, according to Mike Sullivan of CBS Detroit. “It’s pretty crazy. It should be a violation. You shouldn’t be recruiting 10-year-old kids.”
James says it should be a violation to contact young players like his son. The four-time NBA Most Valuable Player didn’t name any of the schools involved in the early recruiting.
But from the looks of a photo Tweeted in July from Kentucky Sports Connect’s Dan Bodner, the University of Kentucky may be in his future. James’ son was in head basketball coach John Calipari’s office, wearing the coach’s title rings:
