*In other urban entertainment news, Pharrell Williams released the artwork for his new single, “Marilyn Monroe,” and it’s no blonde bombshell on the cover!
Williams tried to make up for a former controversy (according to Black Twitter) with featuring a black woman on the cover of his music.
He was criticized earlier this year for his “G I R L” album cover. It did not featuring any dark-skinned or brown-skinned black women.
But he’s not only trying to make up for it with his single cover, but in the music video, it featured an array of women of color dancing right along to his music.
