*Once again Adrien Broner let his mouth prove he’s a straight up ratchet-ghetto.
It’s like this. You can’t put Broner and the word class in the same sentence. Check that. Yes you can. If class is preceded by low as in “low class.”
Broner put his foot in his mouth minutes after he won a unanimous decision against Carlos Molina on the undercard of the Floyd Mayweather-Marcos Maidana fight on Saturday.
Speaking to Showtime’s Jim Gray in the ring, Broner boasted to Gray, “I’ve beaten Africans and I just beat the F-out of a Mexican,” a reference to Molina, who is Argentinean and of Mexican descent and was born in Commerce, Calif.
It just didn’t sound good and didn’t go over very well with the crowd which showered him with boos.
We guess he forgot that back in December it was Maidana, a Mexican, who “beat the f**k” out of him so badly he was taken from the fight to the hospital. You can see that here.
Anyway, after his racialized comment, Jim Gray reprimanded him and caused Broner to wipe the smirk off his face.
Broner, as the NY Daily News reported, then discussed possibly facing the likes of Manny Pacquiao in the future, a boxer who was once ridiculed by Broner’s idol, Mayweather on an infamous internet video along ethnic lines.
