*During Game 2 of the Toronto Raptors’ first round playoff series against the Brooklyn Nets, a camera caught team ambassador Drake using a lint roller on his pants while seated courtside …and now it’s a thing.
The rapper became an instant trending topic. Former NBA player, now TV analyst, Charles Barkley commented: “Who carries a lint brush with them?”
It spread to Brooklyn in Game 3 when a Raptors fan there used his lint roller after Toronto buckets.

And now…Bounce has come on board as the official lint roller supplier of the Raptors.
Before Wednesday night’s pivotal Game 5, the fabric softener company handed out 1200 limited edition Raptors/OVO lint rollers to fans sitting in the “Drake 416 Zone” (a seating section in the arena), as well as in the square and via social media.
Their tagline: “Bounce, helping keep Raptors and OVO fans lint-free.”
Building on the momentum, in a separate promotion, IKEA Canada tweeted out Wednesday that will be giving out lint-rollers before the game. “No lint in our house! We’re giving out IKEA lint rollers before tonight’s game. Details to come,” the Swedish furniture retailer tweeted.
