As we reported, Scott sued BET claiming that they forced him to change into men’s clothing during the red-carpet special of the event. A judge ruled in the favor of BET in April leaving Scott with the bill for their attorney fees. BET has offered to settle for a significantly lower fee if Scott dropped any appeals. Well Scott is oh hell to the no on that and filed another appeal.
“No one will tell me who I should be, how I should present myself, or what I do with my life,” says Scott.
The bottom line at this point is that BET is now going after him for the fees again, demanding at least $150,000.
*In other news, more than 100 people gathered Tuesday night at the legendary Eso Won Bookstore in Los Angeles to celebrate the launch of “Freeway Rick Ross: The Untold Autobiography,” by (the real) Rick Ross: reformed, notorious drug kingpin, now entrepreneur, advocate and educator and Cathy Scott; published by Freeway.
The crowd asked some tough questions, and Freeway delivered compelling answers.
