“Now that I’m on top of the world, we can do whatever we want,” Green says in the opening credits. And that’s pretty much what the show is about – following Green as he travels around the country promoting his various projects (including his latest book, an upcoming solo album and NBC’s ‘The Voice’) while his lifelong friends and Goodie Mob members Big Gipp, Khujo and T-Mo put up with his superstar status.

“Oh, man. He’s demanding,” Khujo told TCA critics in January about CeeLo. “It’s like we be doing shows and I just might be chilling and CeeLo’d say, ‘Move, OG, move.’ I was like, ‘Come on, man. I’m about 40 years old. What do you mean move?’”

“I have not changed,” CeeLo insisted.

“He hasn’t,” Khujo said all jokes aside. “But his expertise, his music and fashion, it’s enormous and it does rub off on us. And I’m glad that he’s in the position where he is now and to have done what he’s done because it only makes us better and then it makes our fans appreciate what we doing.”

If anything, the series will put this faction of the Dungeon Family back on the music industry radar.

“I think it’s a great opportunity,” said Khujo. ” It’s kind of hard for all four of us to get together. But when we do get together, it’s magic. And this television show, for our fans and for new fans, they’re going to love it. They’re going to be able to see more of us instead of just a little video.”

CeeLo says the series will ultimately display the strong bond that has developed between the four of them over their 20 year friendship. Listen below:

TBS ordered six episodes of the half-hour series. Watch tonight’s episode below:
