keyshia_cole and_family*Despite reports that everyone is fine and getting along, apparently all is not well with Keyshia Cole and her family.

A source close to the singer’s mother, Frankie Lons, and sister Neffeteria Pugh tells Sister 2 Sister that Keyshia is standing in the way of the launch of her relatives’ new reality show “Frankie’s Family Therapy.” A recently leaked trailer includes the tagline “The show Keyshia Cole doesn’t want the world to see,” which was not approved by the family.

An anonymous Sister 2 Sister source stated that Keyshia’s relatives would not have included the vocalist’s name on the trailer, which they weren’t ready to release to the public.

In addition to Frankie and Neffe, “Frankie’s Family Therapy” will feature Elite, Latifia, Sam and Rob, who Neffe reunited with to go through group counseling, as well as one-on-one therapy.

Since their BET reality show, “Frankie & Neffe,” the women have remained active. Frankie has been working with her manager LeRoy McNabb doing club appearances and other public events. Neffe is currently working on an eyelash line. Her company, Nyla Productions, created “Frankie’s Family Therapy,” along with Judge Joe Brown and Celebritunity.

Despite acknowledging that whatever Keyshia’s relatives do reflects on her to some degree, the source stated that “Frankie’s Family Therapy” has nothing to do with the Keyshia, who whose relationship with her family hasn’t improved. The source specifically pointed out Neffe, who barely knows her nephew.

Although Keyshia supposedly opposes her family’s efforts to return to reality TV, the source noted that the entertainer is the one who first introduced TV viewers to Frankie and Neffe.

“Keyshia brought them into this line of work,” the source said. “To now try to cut them entirely out…It’s not fair.”

Keyshia’s efforts to block “Frankie’s Family Therapy” isn’t the first time she’s worked to keep her family off TV. Sister 2 Sister cites industry gossip, which mentioned that Keyshia’s displeasure with “Frankie & Neffe” is one reason the BET show did not return for more seasons.
