*Lancôme’s first ad featuring Academy Award-winning Lupita Nyong’o hit the web this morning.

Vogue’s current cover girl is the ambassador for Lancôme’s Teint Idole Ultra 24H foundation, “available in 29 shades for all skintones,” as noted on the ad. The product line is touted as one of the most diverse on the market.

The actress poses in a sleeveless black dress and gold cuff, forgoing the bright eyeshadow she usually loves in favor of a subtle, bronzed glow designed to showcase the product.

In the July issue of Vogue, Nyong’o said of her partnership with Lancôme, “It’s not about conforming to an already established idea of what is beautiful, and I like that,” echoing what she said in her initial statement, “I am particularly proud to represent [Lancôme’s] unique vision for women and the idea that beauty should not be dictated, but should instead be an expression of a woman’s freedom to be herself.”
