*A rep for Tracy Morgan said on Thursday the comedian/actor is on the road to recovery.

The spokesperson, via a statement, Morgan is “progressing,” and that he “continues to show signs of improvement.”

“Today was a better day. While Tracy remains in critical, but stable, condition, he continues to show signs of improvement,” Morgan’s representative, Lewis Kay, said. “His medical team remains optimistic that his recovery is progressing.”

Kay added that Morgan’s fiancee, Megan Wollover, “remains by his side and is relaying the countless good wishes and prayers that his family, friends and fans have been sending their way.”

Jeffrey Millea, another passenger injured in the crash, is also improving, according to Kay.

“In addition, Jeff’s wife asked us to pass along that Jeff has also shown much improvement over the past few days,” Kay said. “She is very thankful for the love and support she and their family continue to receive.”

As we reported, Morgan and three others were injured early Saturday after a tractor trailer reportedly collided with the limo bus they were traveling in on the New Jersey Turnpike, causing the bus to flip over and leading to a multi-vehicle crash.

Comedian James McNair, who performed under the name Jimmy Mack, was killed in the crash. The group of comedians was returning from a comedy show in Delaware at the time of the crash.

The alleged driver of the truck, 35-year-old Kevin Roper of Jonesboro, Ga., has been charged with one count of death by auto and four counts of assault by auto. Roper pleaded not guilty earlier this week.
