TMZ.com reports the quintet will cap off a 20-country world tour by recording a final full album that will only make one copy of it available for sale though auction. Bidding for the offering will start at $1 million.
Bone’s decision echoes the choice made by Wu-Tang, which will auction off a single copy of their The Wu – Once Upon A Time In Shaolin album. According to the RZA, Wu Tang has received a $5 million bid on the project.
“It’s more like a painting, it’s more like a sculpture. You know what I mean?,” the rapper/producer told HipHollywood just before the auction regarding the album’s rarity. “Its not just an album, its a work of art.”
