*Flavor Flav’s annual Fourth of July fireworks display outside of his home in Las Vegas ran afoul of the law…again.
Police cited the rapper over his Independence Day celebration for allegedly setting off thousands of dollars’ worth of illegal fireworks. He’s been doing this annually since 2009, according to the Las Vegas Review Journal.
According to TMZ, Flav had over $8,000 worth of fireworks last year, but the cops quickly came and shut that down.
Police ended this year’s gathering when neighbors called to complain shortly after it started.
Police Lt. Ken Romaine tells the Las Vegas Review-Journal that officers confiscated over 100 pounds of Flav’s remaining fireworks and issued him two fireworks-related citations.
The rapper, whose real name is William Drayton, says his neighbors won’t have to worry about his show next year because he’s moving the party out of the neighborhood.
He says he doesn’t want to go to jail over fireworks, and some 100 guests were having “a ball” until police arrived.
