The Artiaga Family of “Famous in 12,” cancelled by The CW

*How ironic…  A show about a family trying to get famous couldn’t even pull enough viewers each week to stay on the air.

The CW network said Wednesday that it has canceled “Famous in 12,” well shy of its planned three-month run.

The series, produced by Harvey Levin of TMZ and “The People’s Court,” followed the Artiaga family of Beaumont, Calif. as they tried different activities to build fame.

Levin told family members Tuesday that not enough people were watching to keep the show going. It debuted June 3.

Levin had called the series a “social experiment” to test the boundaries of building an empire on limited to no talent.
