*Johnson Publishing Company released its first digital-only version of Jet Magazine. The digital app replaced the print platform for the magazine.

And look who graced the virtual cover — KeKe Palmer. Palmer talked about her upcoming talk show, “Just KeKe.”

She’s young. She’s hip. So it only make sense she received her own talk show and got the first cover of Jet’s digital-only version.

“This is such an honor,” said Keke Palmer.  “JET Magazine was always on the table in my family’s home and it’s great to be their first cover as they enter into the digital age.”

New content will  be added each Friday with new celebrities and public figures to grace the cover each week.

Video interviews, 3D images, digital maps and audio content are included on the app.

“I am excited to carry the torch of the iconic JET brand into the digital realm,” said Kyra Kyles, the newly appointed editorial director of both JET magazine app and JETmag.com.  “I am confident that we can keep the legacy of the magazine for generations.”

The app is available on digital and mobile platforms. There’s a 30 day free trial for subscribers.
