*”R&B Divas LA” finally returns to TV One tonight, Wednesday, July 16. And although fans are ready for season two, everyone can’t stop talking about season three of “R&B Divas Atlanta” including Lil Mo.
The ladies of “R&B Divas Atlanta” brought much drama this season and Angie Stone was a major part of that. So it was shocking when she announced she was leaving the show.
But of course, Lil Mo put in her two cents and talked about when its time to leave reality TV.
“The reality show platform is supposed to boost. It’s not supposed to bring down and it’s not supposed to feel like this is detrimental to my coin,” Lil Mo said.
Stone’s ex-boyfriend Ashanti Graves is rumored to have had an affair with staffer on the show — potentially playing a part in her departure.
Mo explained reality TV can be damaging to an artist’s reputation as well, and no one wants to leave reality TV with that.
“A lot of people don’t want to be ‘Kelly Priced.’ People loved Kelly before the show. People still love her, but they don’t like her attitude,” Mo said.
