'Black-ish' Co-stars Anderson & Ellis Ross Talk Show's 'Wow Factor'

Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross of ABC’s ‘Black-ish’

*Last Saturday (08-22-14), The Merge Summit brought out the big guns: Laurence Fishburne, Anthony Anderson, Tracee Ellis Ross, Kenya Barris and Larry Wilmore who all star in ABC’s new family sitcom “Black-ish.” The show is set to debut on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 @ 9:30pm after “Modern Family.”

EUR associate LaCora Stephens was there to speak to Anderson and  Ellis Ross as the funny man/actor promised the media at least nine seasons of the brand new show. The synopsis reads:

Andre ‘Dre’ Johnson has a great job, a beautiful wife, Rainbow, four kids, and a colonial home in the ‘burbs. But has success brought too much assimilation for his black family?

“…Telling truthful stories about our life and family lives.  We can’t fabricate anything or try to tell you what we’re going to do, we just have to do it!” says Anthony Anderson.  Tracee Ellis Ross added, “Sometimes the most groundbreaking television is just telling the truth and doing good work in a fun way. Just doing some ‘ish!”

These two are separately hilarious, but together they are hysterical.  They even tagged team on our associate LaCora playing good cop, bad cop about her choice of “Dynamite” style.  Check out, what they had to say to EURweb in the footage below.
