*Chance The Rapper is reliving his childhood with performing a cover of the theme song from the children’s animated series, “Arthur.”
Now he’s released an official cover online to the theme song — a coming-of-age rap from the 21-year-old.
The song “Wonderful Everyday,” involves a “wonderful” crew –including Jessie Ware, Wyclef Jean, Donnie Trumpet, Elle Varner, Eryn Allen Kane, Francis & The Lights, The O’my’s and Peter Cottontale.
The track has quite the feel to it. With a gospel-sounding introduction, it features accompanying voices, periodic symbol splashes and rhythmic stomping.
Also, the track features past lyrics from the theme song, which has been airing on PBS since 1996 — as well as original lyrics from Chance.
The track helped with the hype of Chance visiting his hometown Chicago during Lollapalooza last weekend.
