*The Saban Theatre at the Beverly Hills/LA border will be the locale for a night of romantic music, featuring JD Hall, who will perform many of legendary singer Barry White’s greatest hits. He will be performing with a 14 piece orchestra, The Ultimate Barry White Tribute Orchestra.

The event, a benefit for The Union Rescue Mission, will be held on August 30, 2014, from 6:00-10PM at the beautiful venue, The Saban Theater, located at 8440 Wilshire Blvd. Beverly Hills, CA 90211. JD Hall has graced the stage with The Coasters, Sly, Slick and Wicked and has opened for iconic groups and artists, including the legendary Jackie Wilson. He had an underground hit in the 80s, “Wonder Woman,” which he followed up by his smash “Number 1 Lover,” which is still requested today. JD Hall, who possesses a deep resonate voice, is doing the songbook of Barry White. “I loved the way he expressed his music,” said JD of Barry White. “In his realm, he was the very best.” He is doing the tribute with his 14 piece orchestra, The Ultimate Barry White Tribute Orchestra.

JD Hall has a soft spot in his heart for the plight of the homeless and decided to give the Union Rescue Mission a platform at the event.Union Rescue Mission (URM) is dedicated to serving men, women, and children experiencing homelessness. They provide comprehensive emergency and long-term services to the homeless to help them escape the dangerous streets of Skid Row. The Mission will be doing a 15 minute presentation. Please donate.
