*He may have yielded to getting wet for a cause, but LeBron James is making sure he gets a little help from his friends to keep the effort going.

As we reported, the NBA all-star participated in the ALS ice bucket challenge while vacationing in Greece (see it below). James’ name came up for the effort after Kevin Durant, Kevin Hart, former high school teammate Brandon Weems and Cleveland Cavaliers DJ Steph Floss dared him to get soaked for the cause of raising awareness of ALS. To date, the ALS Association reports that more than $10 million has been raised from the Ice Bucket Challenge.

James returned the favor after taking the challenge by naming President Barack Obama as the next person to get an ice water bath. Despite being called out, the commander-in-chief was far from choosing the wet option. Instead, the Washington Post reports that Obama would more likely take the other option, which involves writing a $100 check.

Until recently, James ’ charitable act makes him one of the few athletes who hadn’t taken the challenge. That may be the case, but according to HelloBeautiful.com, the former Miami Heat player ended up doing a bit more recently as he awarded his wife Savannah Brinson a ‘push gift’ this past weekend by taking her on an intimate vacation, without their sons.

During his time with his wife on a yacht, James revealed the name of his unborn daughter via Instagram

“Mykonos Greece is spectacular!” he wrote. “Push gift to my wife @mrs_sacvannahrj! Zhuri hurry up and get here so your daddy and 2 brothers can annout you! Lol.”
