HipHopWired.com noted that Bosh responded with a sharp “No” when ESPN reporters asked him about whether he had spoken to James since second free agency decision. Instead, the site added that Bosh redirected attention to the Heat as he pledged his allegiance to his team and mentioned how his primal focus was to see the Heat thrive with the loss of the man who helped them win two championships.
“I’m in the mode where I’m trying to lead my team, help these guys out around here,” Bosh said. “If guys aren’t in this locker room, I don’t have much time for them — if any.”
Despite the salty reply, Bosh insisted that his stance was not the result of any beef.
“Everybody’s going to hype it up, and it’s going to be a big deal,” he told the reporters. “But for us, it’s just another opportunity to get better. We know everything that’s surrounding the situation, and it is what it is. As far as we’re concerned, this is our team, this is what we’re trying to build toward, the past is the past, we’re moving on, and it’s good to get this out of the way.”
There you have it. Bosh’s comments apparently differ from the blessings given by his teammate Dwayne Wade.
