*We are days away from the Oct. 14 return of BET’s “Real Husbands of Hollywood,” with Kevin Hart, Nick Cannon, Boris Kodjoe, Nelly, Duane Martin and J.B. Smoove back to play heightened versions of themselves.

Also back for Season 3 is Erica Ash, who will reprise her role as Kevin Hart’s ex-wife Bridgette. Simultaneously, she’ll continue to appear in the current Starz series “Survivor’s Remorse” as M-Chuck, the sister of pro basketball star Cam Calloway (Jessie T. Usher).

“Verrrry protective of my brother in the show, and not just in his newfound fame life, but when we were kids,” Ash tells EURweb of her character. “I just grew up protecting him. He’s my baby just as much as he is Cassie Calloway, our mother’s baby.

“I definitely feel M-Chuck has that sense of motherliness towards him and protectiveness that doesn’t go away just because our lifestyles change.”

“Survivor’s Remorse” today was picked up for a 10-episode second season…a boost from its current 6-episode run.

No word on how many episodes of “Real Husbands” will feature Ash this season, but knowing the character’s hostility toward Kevin, any Bridgette appearance is sure to be full of delightful ratchetness.

Below, Ash tells us what it’s like to work opposite Kevin Hart, and how her role as his wife compares to M-Chuck on “Survivor’s Remorse.”

“Survivor’s Remorse” airs Saturdays at 9 p.m. on Starz.
“Real Husbands of Hollywood” returns Oct. 14 at 10 p.m. on BET.
