*It was just a year ago when the popular TV biopic, “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story” aired on VH1 — focusing on the personal lives and, career ups and downs of the super girl group, TLC.
Pebbles is still upset about her portrayal in the TV biopic. She claims to have paid the group fairly; and she said she was never involved with the group’s lawyers.
Also, she’s claiming in the legal documents that the film portrayed her, “as a conniving and dishonest business woman who hoodwinked three innocent girls and exploited their talent for her own personal gain.”
Pebbles is demanding Chilli and T-Boz — who are the TV biopic’s producers — serve her with any documents they’ve discussed about her to Viacom.
Also, she is requesting to see the script’s outline of scenes involving her as TLC’s manager — specifically focused on the scenes where she reacts to T-Boz’s health issues and where she discusses the group’s contracts.
T-Boz and Chilli haven’t responded to the subpoenas, but Viacom asked for the lawsuit to be thrown out — claiming they didn’t portray Pebbles with malice, and it was accurate portrayal of the group’s ex-manager.
