The superstar player has been diagnosed with a Jones fracture in his right foot that could see him out of action for six-to-eight weeks.
After complaining of discomfort in his right foot, tests revealed a fracture for the five-time All-Star. Sam Presti, the Thunder’s General Manager, says surgery is normally required for this type of injury, but added that Durant will be further evaluated by team doctors before a specific timeline and course of treatment is decided.

Durant, the 2013-14 MVP, averaged a career-high 32.0 points per game last season, while leading Oklahoma City to its fourth consecutive division title.
