*Geez! No wonder folks are freaked out about the Ebola situation.
We’ve all heard/read about the importance of quarantine as far as Ebola is concerned.
And here we have NBC News medical reporter, Dr. Nancy Snyderman, who was in Liberia with a colleague, Ashoka Mukpo, who showed symptoms of Ebola and in treatment in Nebraska. Here’s where the quarantine issue comes in. Dr. Snyderman and other who were with Mukpo were placed in (voluntary) quarantine for 21 days to make sure they are virus free.
Now we learn Dr. Snyderman is basically saying bunk that! She was spotted out and about in New Jersey
Snyderman, 62, NBC’s chief medical editor, was spotted sitting in her car outside of The Peasant Grill in Hopewell, N.J., Thursday afternoon, Planet Princeton reported. A man with her picked up the take-out order.
Snyderman is a regular at The Peasant Grill, which is known for its soup, TMZ reported.
New Jersey officials made the quarantine mandatory late Friday after news broke that Snyderman, wearing sun glasses and with pulled-back hair, was spotted out and about.
