*Former “R&B Divas: Atlanta” star and Brownstone singer Nicci Gilbert is making her return to TV with “From the Bottom Up,” according to theJasmineBRAND.com.

This time around she’s going behind the camera, although she’s going through an intense legal battle with TV One.  Nevertheless, she’s signed a new venture deal with Queen Latifah.

“From the Bottom Up” will document the lives of women who had everything, then lost everything and who are now trying to climb their way back to the top.

These women’s decisions garnered them negative impacts and backlash — destroying their careers and lives. But with Gilbert’s producing hat on, their stories are going to be told.

“It’s a docu-series and it follows women who are very successful. It’s a group of women who a lot of people will be very familiar with and they were very successful and some situation occurred in their lives and everything literally fell apart,” Gilbert said.

She added, “these are women who have done jail time. These are women who lost their families, very serious repercussions from their decisions. This show is following them literally going from the top to the bottom and back to the top. Which is my life story for the past few years.”

Sarah StrokesChristine Beatty, Chrystale WilsonStacii Jae Johnson and Kim Smedley are the five women working to start over and get back to where they need to be.

“I’m not the a part of the show. It’s Christine Beatty, she was at the center of the Mayor Kilpatrick controversy. Kim Smedley did time for illegal butt injections,” Gilbert said.

She added,”Stacii Jae Johnsonshe [worked for Mayor Reed and was arrested with a] DUI. Chrystale Wilson from Players Club. Sara Stokes, from Making the Band, she just got out of jail.”

The show begins filming next month in December, and it’s set to premiere in 2015 under the venture deal with Queen Latifah.
