*The Web is awash today with memes, tweets and continued reaction to the jaw-dropping one-handed touchdown catch made by New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
Giving new meaning to Stretch Armstrong, the rookie receiver became a trending topic on Sunday, Nov. 23, after he laid his body out backwards in midair to grab Eli Manning’s throw during a game against Dallas.
“This is sick! Put this to music!” NBC sports announcer Cris Collinsworth commented. “I don’t think he stepped out either!” Still giddy and reeling from the amazing one-handed grab, Collinsworth (a former wide receiver himself) continued: “That may be the greatest catch I’ve ever seen… You have to be kidding me! That is impossible. That is absolutely impossible what he just did.”
Other star athletes also reacted to the stunning catch on Sunday evening including Victor Cruz, LeBron James, and Tom Brady.
Gisele Bundchen’s quarterback husband, who has seen plenty of amazing catches during his career, said he saw the play and “couldn’t believe” his eyes. “I kind of started laughing out loud,” Brady said on the Dennis and Callahan show. “Ironically, just before that, they were showing those catches of him in the pregame, and then all of a sudden he did it again. To do it on a ball like that — the ball was almost behind his head, and it barely even bobbled in his hand. It like stuck and then just started rolling and he got it to his body. That was unbelievable. That guy is going to be a hell of a player.”
It didn’t take long for the memes to get going.

Perhaps it was LeBron’s tweet that caused Beckham Jr. to get in on the meme action with this…
Beckham added: “Goin to sleep but just wanna thank God for everything he’s Doin in my life. #TruelyBlessed.”
