*Drake offered an apology to fellow rapper Fabolous after appearing to write off his talent in a magazine interview.
Drake hit headlines earlier this year for his remarks in Rolling Stone, during which he criticized Kanye West’s last album “Yeezus” and made an unflattering comparison to Fabolous’ work, saying, “There were some real questionable bars on there (“Yeezus”)… Like that ‘Swaghili’ line? Come on, man. Even Fabolous wouldn’t say some s**t like that…”
Drizzy said the comment was supposed to be off the record.
Fabolous has now revealed that Drake later approached him to walk the comment back.
He tells MTV, “He (Drake) apologized that I was even brought into that whole mess. I was shocked. Out of that conversation where they were talking about Jay (Z) and Kanye, for my name to come up in that mix, it definitely seemed like it was spoken up. It’s over. It’s under the bridge. I got a lot of respect for what Drake does, and he’s expressed that to me personally. So we move on from there.”
