*Janet Jackson may not be doing much musically, but she’s making moves overseas.
Algemeiner.com reports the singer and her billionaire Qatari husband, Wissam al-Mana, arrived in the West Bank on Wednesday for a private visit. Destinations included sightseeing in the Palestinian Authority (PA), which featured visits to Ramallah and Hebron
According to TheYBF, Janet and Wissaam took photos (see above and below) hugging, and playing with kids at Zaatari, a refugee camp in Jordan. Janet posted the photos on her Facebook page with the caption, “With UNICEF Zaatari Camp. Syria’s beautiful children. Their openness and love… so wonderful. Wissam and Janet.”
The PA visit will reportedly run through Friday. There was no word whether Jackson and al-Mana plan a visit to Israel, Algemeiner noted. The couple’s unannounced trek comes as Israelis carry high hopes for a string of anticipated musical visits from famed entertainers such as Robbie Williams, the Backstreet Boys and Kylie Minogue.
