*Swedish video game developer Markus Persson put up more money than Jay Z and Beyonce to nab a fully furnished 23,000-square-foot mansion in Beverly Hills, reports TMZ.
Persson, the creator of video game phenomenon Minecraft, reportedly purchased the property for $70 million…and that was after getting the owner to knock $15 million off the home’s asking price.
According to the realtor, it is the most expensive house to ever be sold in Beverly Hills.
TMZ reports that Jay and Bey visited the mansion several times and made an offer… one that was eventually refused. So, what did Persson get for his money?
• Eight bedrooms
• 15 bathrooms, each with $5,600-toilets
• Automated 54-foot curved glass door that opens to a zero edge (infinity) pool
• 18-seat movie theater
• Vodka and tequila bars
• 10 Bentley Motors-designed chairs worth $56,000 a pop
• Panoramic ocean views
• A wall of onyx
And a wall of candy…
