*The blame game has struck again as actor James Woods and actress/Fox News contributor Stacey Dash are pointing fingers for the deaths of two NYPD police officers who were killed Saturday.
“These murders are the natural result of the #Jihad on cops that @TheRevAl & @deBlasioNYC has called for. They should be held accountable,” Dash said tweeted Saturday.
Following Dash’s lead, Woods took it to another level by insulting Sharpton and criticizing deBlasio in his Twitter rant as he encouraged officers to turn their back on the mayor with the hastags #BlueLivesMatter #TurnYourBacks on #RaceHucksters. Here’s what he had to say on Sunday morning:
Dash and Woods’ comments come after officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos were both shot in the head by Ismaaiyl Brinsley as they sat in their patrol car on Saturday afternoon. Prior to attacking the officers, Brinsley reportedly shot and seriously wounded his ex-girlfriend in Baltimore.
According to reports, Brinsley made anti-cop statements on social media and later shot and killed himself after fatally shooting Liu and Ramos. At a press conference on Saturday, Sharpton stood alongside the widow and mother of Eric Garner as he denounced the officers’ deaths.
Taking note what has transpired, police Benevolent Association President Pat Lynch made his feelings known as he alluded to deBlasio in regards to “blood on many hands” after the shooting
“Those that incited violence on this street under the guise of protest, that tried to tear down what New York City police officers did everyday,” Lynch said at a press conference. “That blood on the hands starts on the steps of city hall in the office of the mayor.”
