50 Cent to Take Over New York Daily News’ ‘Confidenti@l’ Column

*In full promotion mode for his Starz show “Power,” 50 Cent will take over the New York Daily News and its Confidenti@l column for the day, choosing photos, writing up items and even attending the news meeting.

“Tables are turning on Tuesday at the New York Daily News, I’ll be choosing the content!” 50 said in a statement to Billboard. “Everyone better get ready.”

His employment will begin Tuesday, following a weekend of schmoozing with the stars at Sunday’s Golden Globes and the Television Critics Association press tour. Listen to him interrupt our TCA interview with “Power’s” Omari Hardwick and Joseph Sikora.

50 promised to spill tea from the weekend onto the pages of Confidenti@l.

“He’s coming to work, and he’s going to be the man in charge,” Raakhee Mirchandani, managing editor of features, told Billboard.
