*The acclaimed Broadway musical, “After Midnight,” signed a deal with Norwegian Cruise Line. The show is coming abroad the Norwegian Escape starting in November, according to AlwaysAList.
The musical, which originally starred Dule Hill and Fantasia, will be showcased on the newest and largest cruise line this fall. This make sense since the show was a hit.
The musical, which originally opened up at the Great White Way in 2013, was nominated for seven Tony Awards and won the award for Best Choreography.
The musical is set in the jazzy 1930s of the Harlem Renaissance era. And has starred other talent — including Vanessa Williams, Patti Labelle, Toni Braxton and Babyface.
Although the cast for the crusie line hasn’t been set yet, the director/choreographer, Tony Award winner Warren Carlyle is returning as well as costumes by Isabel Toledo and the set by John Lee.
