*The first trailer for Marvel’s upcoming reboot of “Fantastic Four” hit the web today, Jan. 27, complete with Michael B. Jordan, Miles Teller, Kate Mara and Jamie Bell as the latest superheroes of Marvel’s superhero franchise.
Jordan, who plays The Human Torch/Johnny Storm, teased the film to Us Weekly last fall, saying he was honored to tackle the classic superhero role, despite a few haters who take issue with a black actor stepping into Johnny Storm’s shoes.
“It took a while to get it all together, but we are incredibly excited to see it happening,” the actor said. “Johnny Storm is such an original character. It was amazing to be able to bring my own take to him. I think people are going to like what we did with it. It’s a great cast.”
Fantastic Four will premiere Aug. 7.
