Last month, he was indicted on these charges of driving with a suspended license. Flav faces charges on a speeding violation and two misdemeanors for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
A spokesperson for Nassau County’s acting District Attorney Madeline Singas declined to comment on the matter. But a spokesperson confirmed Flav has a Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015 court appearance.
Flav was arrested for his crimes on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014 on Meadowbrook Parkway in Long Island. But this isn’t the only time he got in trouble recently.
A Nevada judge closed a case against Flav last year after he completed a domestic violence counseling course for wielding a kitchen knife while arguing with his longtime girlfriend’s 17-year-old son back in 2012, according to EURWeb.
