*Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will host the Golden Globes for a third time this weekend, and don’t be surprised if Bill Cosby’s recent troubles end up in their crosshairs in the opening monologue.
When “Access Hollywood” asked Fey whether jokes about Cosby and his flurry of sexual assault allegations would be fair game, Fey answered, “Oh, heck yes!”
The former “30 Rock” and “Saturday Night Live” star says it’s not a matter of being malicious.
“Amy and I have always said that the idea is that we don’t want anyone attending to be scared to be there because of us,” Fey said. “It’s a party and it’s — in the grand scheme of the world, it couldn’t be less important — and I think that’s what makes it fun.”
Fey appeared at the Television Critics Association Winter Tour to promote her new Netflix series, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.”
The Golden Globes will air on Sunday on NBC. “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” will hit Netflix on March 6.
