*Chiwetel Ejiofor could soon find himself in the Marvel business.

The studio is reportedly courting the actor to play an unspecified role in its upcoming “Doctor Strange,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

He would join Benedict Cumberbatch, who is starring as the surgeon turned sorcerer supreme Stephen Strange, aka Doctor Strange.

Talks are said to be in the early stages, and Marvel had no comment. Also, character and plot details are being kept under wraps, but several sources are saying that Ejiofor is wanted for a villainous role. Other sources deny that, according to THR.

Scott Derrickson is directing the movie, which is in the early stages of casting and will shoot after “Captain America: Civil War,” according to sources.

“Doctor Strange” is due in theaters on Nov. 4, 2016.

Ejiofor, nominated for a best actor Oscar for “12 Years a Slave,” was reportedly due to play a villain in the new James Bond movie, “Spectre,” but talks never reached the deal-making phase.
