Omarosa Chats Up St. Jude Hospital, Claudia Jordan & Bethenny Feuds

Omarosa+Manigault*Throughout her stint on reality TV, Omarosa Manigault has gained fame and a few enemies while carving her own niche.

Yet through it all, she’s always managed to stay the same. During a recent appearance on WE TV’s “David Tutera’s CELEBrations,” Manigualt reflected on being able to use her fame for a worthy cause as well as feuds with fellow reality show fixtures Claudia Jordan and Bethenny Frankel.

The cancellation of Frankel’s self-titled talk show was a forgone conclusion Manigualt reached after a tense exchange between the two when she appeared on the show in 2013.

“In the Bible, 2 Chronicles 20:15 teaches us not be afraid or discouraged because the battle is not yours, it’s God’s,” Manigualt, an assistant pastor at Weller Street Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles, said about Frankel. “I believe in letting go and letting God fight your battles!”

Another battle Manigualt found herself in involved Jordan when they appeared on “Celebrity Apprentice: All Stars” in 2012. Since being fired from the show after failing to take Manigault to the boardroom, the feud was on as Jordan slammed Manigualt on social media and made accusations about her relationship with the late Michael Clarke Duncan, among other things.

Reflecting on Jordan, Manigualt mentioned that the worst of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star’s character was present on and off the small screen.

“I was very disappointed to learn about her continued attack of women of color and their skin complexions. Especially Claudia’s comments about T.I.‘s wife Tiny Harris and the complexions of dark African-Americans,” Manigualt stated. “It’s obvious that she suffers from self-hate and believes and practices colorism! We know colorism can be worse than racism at times because it is against your own. It really comes from her obvious ignorance and mis-education about standards of beauty in our culture. Claudia should use her platform on ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ to uplift other African-American women instead of tearing others down with her practice of colorism.”

Conflicts aside, Manigualt has found other ways to exercise her fame as an active supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research. The 40-year-old ordained minister is partnering with Tutera to organize a fundraiser for St. Jude, which she holds near and dear to her heart, reports AlwaysAlist.

“St. Jude is so important to me because of the incredible work that they do and helping to fight childhood cancer and catastrophic diseases. The work that they do has been life-changing and life saving. They believe that ‘no child should die in the dawn of their life’ and I believe in St. Jude and that’s why am so honored to serve as a Sunday of Hope ambassador for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital,” Manigualt explained as she expressed her good fortune in partnering with Tutera to benefit St. Jude was a dream come true.

“This experience was one of the most rewarding of my life and my ministry,” said Manigualt, who labeled the partnership as a dream come true. “This is the third year that my church, Weller Street Baptist has participated in Sunday of Hope so I felt a tremendous amount of responsibility to get this right and raise a lot of money for such a worthy cause.”
