Seahawks’ Marshawn Lynch Inspires Seattle’s New Marijuana Strain

marshawn lynch,*The Queen Anne Cannabis Club, a Seattle-based marijuana dispensary, revealed a new strain of marijuana and it’s being dedicated to Seattle SeahawksMarshawn Lynch. It’s called “Beast Mode 2.0,” according to MSN.

Last year, the marijuana dispensary made a name for itself by introducing “Beast Mode” — naming it in honor of the running back around the time of the Seattle Seahawks’ Super Bowl XLVIII.

Growers had to create a more potent strain of “Beast Mode” after the original was so successful last year, Nate “Diggity” Johnson, the proprietor of the cannabis club told TMZ.

“Beast Mode” had a THC content of 17.6 and 2.0 has a five percent increase of THC content, which is above the average potency for pot.

“It’s a super pain reliever,” Johnson said. “And hits you just like Marshawn — hard and fast.”

He added, “Marshawn has gears when he’s running and it’s kind of like that. It has a little bit of a slow start and then kicks in.”
