Aunt Viv on Replacing Rosie O’Donnell, Kenya-Gate & Her 50 Cent Mistake

vivica-fox*Never let it be said that Vivica A. Fox doesn’t give it to you straight. No matter what the topic is, the former “Celebrity Apprentice” competitor will let you know exactly how she feels about whoever or whatever.

In an interview on “The Meredith Vieira Show,” Fox weighs in on should replace Rosie O’Donnell on “The View” as well as her fellow “Celebrity Apprentice” castmate Kenya Moore and 50 Cent, who she labeled as a mistake who is “absolutely the love of my life.”

Highlights from Fox’s interview, which airs today (Feb. 16) are below:

Vivica A. Fox on Who Should Replace Rosie on The View:

Meredith: Who should replace Rosie on The View?

Vivica: Moi.

Meredith: Yes, that’s what I was hoping you would say Vivica.

Vivica: After surviving Apprentice yes, I deserve a job.

Meredith: All kidding aside if it worked for you wouldn’t she be fabulous. You would be fabulous for that show. Would you even think about it?

Vivica: Sure, you know what besides Apprentice and Sharknado 2, I forgot about that critical acclaim, I haven’t done a job in New York for a long time. New York’s grown and sexy, so I’d take a chance at The View. Why not?

Vivica on “Kenya-gate”:

Meredith: Everybody is talking about the feud with Kenya Moore, she was fired before you. She has since gone on and continued to talk about it. When is enough enough?

Vivica: Yeah. You know when enough is enough, as a grown woman to accept responsibility for your actions. Kenya, everything that has went down with phone gate, she could have absolutely took responsibility and handled this differently so that in the future we can see each other and be cordial to one another. As she went upon character assassination it makes things different for me but I want the lesson for young girls to know we have to set examples for generation next. We are role models for them. Bad behavior cannot continuously be rewarded. Accept responsibility for your actions.

Vivica Reveals Dating 50 Cent Was A Mistake She Overcame In Her Life:

Meredith: Part of it is talking about mistakes in your life and how you overcame them. Is there one where you go?

Vivica: Oh Meredith. Even though he is absolutely the love of my life, oh gosh, dating 50 Cent I mean was difficult because I really really cared for him and I loved him very very much and I always will but he just wasn’t right for me and that’s hard when you really really love a person in your heart, you want to be with them but you finally have to say, ‘He’s just not right for me.’ I wish him the best, he is amazing and baby he’s fine but to just know if you love someone to just know they are not right for you.

Meredith: That’s not a mistake that’s a realization that takes real maturity.

Vivica: Yeah but sometimes love ain’t always right, the heart wants what it wants, but sometimes it’s just not right.

Meredith: So what did that teach you about listening to your heart vs. your head?

Vivica: Well to trust in my heart and take the time not to settle. I think as women sometimes we’re afraid to be alone or we think, ‘Oh my God he’s a great catch.’ Make sure you’re not dating his agent, make sure you’re dating him because you know the first three months they’ll show you all the bells and whistles and then the real one shows up. That goes for guys and girls because there are some girls who got some trick backs too.
