*Azealia Banks has another feud on her hands. This time it’s with Erykah Badu. And it all started when a fan asked Badu if she listens to Banks’ music. She replied with, “I tried.”
And in true Banks fashion, she got in her feelings about the response. And then she proceeded to clap back at Badu on Twitter.
“When artists grow old and begin to recognize their own mortality they throw shade at younger spirits,” she tweeted. “We see it happen ALL the time. Whether or not you like me, you are WATCHING, and that’s what’s most important.”
But Badu played it cool with her response. “Well sh*t, I did try. Maybe you’re right. I’m just too old to get it. You cool tho?”
In the same tweet, Badu turned on her location. And Banks took that as an insinuation to come fight her. The ladies never met up as Banks revealed on Sunday.
“Lol that old lady went out of her way throw shade at me, turned on her location,” Banks said. “But when I asked for the address … there was no answer.”
She added, “I think it was very childish of her to try and insinuate that I should show up and fight her. Like, how old are you?
