Floyd Mayweather Denied Entry to Australia

Floyd Mayweather

*Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s was all set to hit up Australia with a 30-person entourage to appear at two expensive dinner events on Thursday and Friday…but then his visa was denied.

According to The Sydney Morning Herald, the 37-year-old boxer was denied entry Down Under because of his history of domestic violence. The visa was denied just hours before he and his crew were about to board a private plane.

Mayweather’s publicist, Max Markson, said he plans to appeal the decision, which could have financial repercussions for Mayweather’s team, according to The Herald. Refunds are being made available for attendees who request them.

Mayweather has been enjoying an otherwise relaxing week. On Tuesday, he Instagrammed a video of himself getting a “fish pedicure” “in another country.” Several days earlier, he shared a snapshot from the beach in Jamaica.
