*John Legend is defending what was perceived as a photo mocking Beck’s out-of-the-blue Grammy win for Album of the Year.
During Sunday night’s show, Kim Kardashian posted a pic of herself with, Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen making silly faces with the caption: “This is the Beck won that award face?!?!?!”

Legend later took to Twitter to defend himself against the post, tweeting:
“Congrats to all winners, including @beck. Much respect. That selfie was taken before Album of the Year was announced.” He added, “Not that being shocked he won would have been a sin. Every article I’ve read about it said it was surprising. He’s still a great artist.”
