*Kanye West couldn’t keep it together during a visit to BBC Radio 1 on Thursday.

The rapper got emotional during an interview with host Zane Lowe when speaking about the late British fashion design professor, Louise Wilson.

“I didn’t know we were going to lose her…and she told me, she said, you know, ‘Thank you for the times where I came to performances and this has like really meant a lot to me, with…'” he said about his mentor, who passed away in May 2014.

West then covered his face as he broke down into tears.

“We’ll take a minute,” Lowe told him.

When West returned to his chair he said, “That’s never happened to me in an interview before, I think I’m good.”
