*In the wake of Fashion Police host Giuliana Rancic apologizing for her comments on Zendaya’s hair, stars have come forward on Twitter to support Zendaya Coleman for defending herself.
The controversy started when the E! personality said the dreadlocks Zendaya wore on the Oscars red carpet must have smelled of “patchouli” and “weed,” which led to Zendaya posting a message on Instagram explaining how offensive that was to her.
Solange applauded Zendaya via Instagram, saying: “Yeah @fashionpolice been bashing my fro for years, @intouchweekly compared it to a dog…and u know what I say?…”
She answered the question with a GIF that shows her shaking her huge mane back and forth.
Also backing Zendaya are Kerry Washington, Viola Davis, Ava DuVernay and even Khloe Kardashian, who was a guest co-hosted on the Oscars red carpet with Rancic.
